How do my hands wave? Moving and rising in my hands the way it shows all the pictures. Reaching, grasping and encasing in my hands it paints your understanding into a perfect place. Tumbling and rumbling in my hands move all the beautiful feeling in an inspiration. Crashing and smashing in my hands it stands for all the meanings of natural signing. Waving with my hands reflects! Two Oldest Brothers who are Deaf
Did you know that Marie Osmond has two brothers, who are deaf?
You may want to know more than that. Virl and Tom, the two oldest Osmond children, are deaf and raised orally. Their deafness was the inspiration for the Children's Miracle Network. Olive Osmond started the Osmond Foundation, which is the Children's Miracle Network. Marie Osmond served as Chairperson of the Foundation. I don't really read all of the stories. Just wanted to share a tiny bit of the news on my post. I wanted to add something else that I caught Marie Osmond signing: "Thank you" on the television show, Dancing with the Stars. Just the perfect sign, "Thank you!"... That's nice to see that. Well, I thought it would be cool if her deaf brothers would be on the T.V. show than just her brother, Donny, but I don't really mind. I guess that's all for my blog. =)
Here is the website you may want to check and learn more about the Mother Osmond.
What I learned from this website: Their first two children, Virl and Tom, were born with a degenerative condition which left them nearly deaf. Doctors warned the couple that any other children would be at risk of inheriting the same disorder, but George and Olive wanted a large family. The rest of the children, Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, Marie, and Jimmy, were born healthy.

Note:
After you read all the comments below, you may want to see Barb's post regarding deaf/Deaf. http://deafprogressivism.blogspot.com/2007/10/should-we-get-rid-of-small-d-in-deaf.html (copy and paste it)
Thanks to Kim's help for explaining about the degenerative condition, she clarified it.

Our Greeting Card from 2002
When I sorted out the Christmas boxes, I let the kids set up the Christmas tree. I found the photo on our greeting card that was taken in Fulton, Illinois by the Mississippi River. You can see the windmill behind us on the photo. It's a replica of those in Holland. The photo was taken in 2002 before my 4th child was born. At that time, we took a two-week vacation to Jacksonville, Illinois for Tom's 35th High School Reunion at ISD and came to see a lot of places: The Gateway Arch (St. Louis, MO), The Sears Tower (Chicago, IL), Abe Lincoln's homes ( New Salem & Springfield, IL), and a lot more! By the way, we visited Tom's old school and we had a chat with his classmate, Jim (from Fookem and Bug Site) and his wife. He introduced us to meet his son, Jason who is the vlogger on their site. It was about five years ago! Anyway, we had a wonderful vacation and my kids want to go there again. Hopefully we will do it once more soon!

A note for Bug from Fookem and Bug blog site
I am so bored and I can't think of anything to add
to my blog. Ah! I thought about that, Why don't I
add something to my blog...The note for Bug!
I think I found a perfect match for you!
She's glamour!
You'd faint to the ground when you meet her!
I believe you both will chat-chit for hours!
Her body is hard, smooth, and sweet
like a lollipop you'd like to lick!
If you'd squeeze her, she might bite you,
but her tiny bite won't hurt you.
Just tickle you a little bit.
You'd probably like that!
Her oval shell (sorry, no nipples, just the spots)
attacts you!
Would you like to meet her? Let me introduce her...
...her name is ladybug!
I met her in my garden last summer and thought about
FB bug!

KODA's poetry
My youngest daughter, Hannah edits her poetry from last October. I love her poetry and wanted to share with you on my post. I hope she'd write some more poetry. Enjoy her poetry!
The man stood outside with his lamp, waiting for any type of inspiration. All of a sudden, a beautiful, white unicorn came out of nowhere, and her mane and tail were blowing in the wind. Her glamorous eyes were dazzling with a lost feeling. The man, Jacob, reached out for his rope while trying not to take his eyes off the mare. After a while, a neigh was heard followed by a shout of victory. The elegant horse was caught. For the first time in 30 years, Jacob's eyes sparkled with excitement, and he laughed a laugh of happiness and comfort. And the horse, who Jacob named Sunny, felt as if she was home, safe and sound. Jacob climbed on her back and rubbed her neck. Then they went, flying through the sky and wet clouds that game them ice cold showers. Jacob grinned a smile as warm and loving as the sun. That particular day Sunny was exceptionally joyful from comforts. She decided to leaped higher and higher, then lower and lower, until she finally stopped at a stream and began to lap down water. Her brown, shimmery eyes gleamed with love for Jacob, she knew she would never leave him. And Jacob felt the same way.

Halloween's here (it's written by Cheyenne)
My kids enjoyed the trick or treat last night and got a bunch of candies!
By the way, my friend (my classmate from University High), Leanne
sent me her daughter's poem via an email. I thought it was cute and asked
Leanne if I could print her daughter's poem on my blog. She said, yes, so
that's great. I know it's kind of late to print it since Halloween was last
night, but I think it's too cute not to post!
The poem is written by Cheyenne.
Halloween's here.
It's a scariful time of year.
Black as night,
Red, orange, white
Halloween colors here to fright.
Pumpkin patches,
Witches cackles,
Goosebumps on your back like scratches.
Ghost are round,
Goblins too,
All just waiting to say to you,
"BOO!"
